About The Position

As a Public Area Houseperson, you'll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all public spaces, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. From the front entrance to the lobby, elevators, and pool areas, your attention to detail will ensure our company standards are met throughout. With supervision and support, you'll play a vital role in crafting a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all who visit our resort.

Requirements

  • 1-3 months of housekeeping or related cleaning experience.
  • Able to work flexible schedules including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Able to use good judgment, work independently, with minimal direction.
  • Able to perform various physical duties, including frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, crouching, reaching, bending, often changing from one task to another within established timeframes.
  • Able to consistently demonstrate and maintain the highest standards of integrity when interacting with team members, management, owners and guests.
  • Capable of understanding and following both oral and written directions as well as knowledge and usage of accurate business English and office practices.
  • Able to communicate effectively, analyze and resolve problems, maintain effective working relationships, and interact professionally with internal and external customers.

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in the hospitality or timeshare industry.

Responsibilities

  • Sweeps, vacuums and mops assigned area daily.
  • Dusts furniture and fixtures and removes rubbish and debris through the shift in assigned areas.
  • Cleans and maintains public and team member restrooms to company standard of cleanliness.
  • Use designated chemicals, supplies and equipment to clean surfaces and floors.
  • Reports damages and maintenance issues.
  • Completes all required company trainings and compliance courses as assigned.
  • Adheres to company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
