About The Position

Purpose of the Position: Assists with routine and special cleaning needs of the Hotel, in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements

• Be punched in, in proper uniform, and ready for work as scheduled.
• Be detail-oriented.
• Represent the Hotel in a courteous and well-groomed manner.
• Be able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, lift, grasp, stretch, and push a cart on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Promotes excellent guest/associate rapport by reacting promptly, effectively and courteously to all requests.
• Answers radio promptly.
• Assists with all general cleaning and rehabilitation projects as directed.
• Reports all floor/carpet care needs to the Housekeeping manager/supervisor.
• Reports all repair needs to Housekeeping Management.
• Maintains all public and back of the house areas as assigned.
• Ensures all closets on guest floors remain closed throughout the shift.
• Maintains all equipment in safe, clean condition.
• Takes responsibility for all chemicals and equipment assigned to him/her.
• Participates in the promotion of safety and security in assigned work areas.
• Supports work efforts of other Housekeeping associates as directed.
• Completes all assigned projects in a timely manner.
• Follows appropriate standards of conduct, hygiene, uniforms and appearance.
• Represents the hotel with professionalism and decorum.
• Attends all required Housekeeping Department and other meetings.
• Vacuums, dusts, and picks up trash in all assigned areas.
• Cleans and re-supplies bathrooms as needed.
• Cleans entrance glass as needed.
• Cleans offices when requested.
• Maintains pool and fitness area.
• Cleans restaurants, bars and lounges as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
