About The Position

The Public Area Attendant at Crowne Plaza Springfield is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the hotel's public areas, including bathrooms, lobby, and back-of-house areas. This role ensures that all areas meet or exceed company standards for cleanliness and safety, contributing to a positive guest experience.

Requirements

• Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skill, and ability.
• Ability to perform job functions under limited supervision.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents, and floors using appropriate cleaning agents.
• Dust all furniture, pictures, and shelves, bending and stooping as needed.
• Polish all metal surfaces with repeated pressure motions.
• Clean ashtrays and empty trash bins.
• Assist guests with inquiries and ensure the lobby area is neat and clean.
• Turn in lost and found items and guest room keys.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security rules.
• Report unsafe conditions and any accidents or injuries to management.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance as per company standards.
• Assist other housekeeping personnel when needed.
