As a Public Area Attendant, you will ensure the main lobby, common areas, bathrooms, and coffee stations are pristine, well-kept, and fully stocked. Connected to the newly expanded Baird Center, the Hilton Milwaukee is Milwaukee’s largest hotel. Built in 1927 as the Schroeder Hotel, the Hilton Milwaukee offers 729 well-appointed guest rooms and over 34,000 square feet of meeting and event space. Requirements
- Previous cleaning, maintenance, housekeeping or janitorial experienced helpful.
- Must be able to represent the company in a professional, well-groomed and courteous manner.
- Ability to use all cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, grasp, stretch, and use a vacuum and push a cart on a regular and extended basis.
- Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays and the ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Greet all guests with a positive attitude.
- Promote excellent guest/associate rapport by completing all requests promptly, efficiently, and courteously.
- Clean and maintain all assigned areas including lobby, exterior of building, parking ramp, restaurant, spa, bathrooms, stairwells, pool, fitness center, and elevators in accordance with the established standards of cleanliness.
- Maintain all floor/carpet/doormat care needs within the hotel.
- Ensure all supplies are in place.
- Participate in the promotion of safety and security in assigned work areas.
- Perform all other related duties and special projects as requested and/or assigned.
