As a Houseperson at Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark, you will be cleaning, maintaining and supplying materials to assigned areas of the hotel. This is a great position for a candidate with little to no experience. Tucked within historic Lake Geneva, Timber Ridge Lodge at the Grand Geneva Resort, is the only all-season, all-suite, destination of its kind in the Midwest. Featuring 50,000 square feet of year-round, indoor/outdoor waterpark excitement, Timber Ridge Lodge is a family bonding adventure that’s soaked in memories. Just 90 minutes from Chicago and 50 minutes from Milwaukee, this property is also home to two championship golf courses, WELL Spa and fitness center, Mountain Top Ski Park, award-winning restaurants, and 1300 acres of picturesque grounds.
Requirements
- Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Must be able to represent the company in a professional, well-groomed and courteous manner.
- Basic English communication is preferred.
- Physical stamina to complete repetitive manual labor tasks.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Past experience in hotels and customer service a plus.
Responsibilities
- Clean all assigned areas including vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers.
- Pick up and deliver supplies and other items upon request.
- Remove all trash and linen from room attendant carts throughout the day.
- Stock all linen closets with proper inventory.
- Assist with team projects and perform additional assigned duties as needed.
