About The Position

The Public Area Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of public spaces and guest rooms as needed. This full-time position is 3pm-11pm, with Friday and Saturday night availability required. Ideal candidates are flexible and able to work any evening as needed. The starting rate for this position is $15.75 per hour, with $1/hr premium pay on weekends. Some of the tasks you'll be doing: Using a radio to communicate with Housekeeping Management and other departments Provide great customer service to our guests by giving directions, making recommendations, or answering other questions they may have Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, providing excellent customer service Ensuring cleanliness of lobby restrooms by mopping, dusting, refilling paper needs, and replenishing soaps Collecting and properly disposing of hotel garbage and recycling Delivering towels, toiletries, or other items to guest rooms as needed Vacuuming and maintaining public areas, ensuring area furniture is clean and arranged neatly Adhere to all safety and security procedures, ensuring the well-being of guests and colleagues Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred, but we are open to training enthusiastic individuals who are eager to learn
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness standards consistently
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects when required
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and fellow team members
  • Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service
  • Qualified applicants must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment drug test and background check
