The Community Engagement Project Manager supports the Library’s Public Affairs team by coordinating, executing, and evaluating a wide range of marketing, communications, and community engagement projects. This position plays a key role in advancing the Library’s public-facing initiatives by ensuring projects are delivered on time and with a high standard of quality. Working under the direction of the Public Affairs Director, the Project Manager oversees projects from initial concept and planning through implementation, evaluation, and reporting. The role includes cross-departmental coordination, development and tracking of timelines and deliverables, and logistical support for Library programs and events. The Project Manager is extremely organized and contributes to the effectiveness of departmental operations through administrative support, project planning, and strong internal and external communication. The Project Manager serves as an effective, collaborative member of the public affairs team by supporting colleagues, contributing to system-wide initiatives, and helping maintain a positive, productive team environment. This is done while contributing creative ideas, problem solving, and continuously improving the planning and execution of marketing and communication projects. All Public Affairs staff also assist with staffing Signature Events and other large programs. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $53,910 plus excellent benefits .
