We are seeking an experienced Public Affairs Analyst who will support the Aviation & Missile Center by delivering strategic communication and public outreach expertise. In this role, you will develop and execute communication and engagement plans that strengthen relationships with community, industry, and academic partners and enhance understanding of the AvMC mission. The analyst leads the planning and execution of community relations events, industry engagements, and strategic speaker placements, ensuring all activities align with command priorities. you will also serve as a key support to government leadership, providing expert guidance on public communication matters and ensuring that all communication strategies and products comply with applicable DoW and Army policies. This role requires strong analytical, writing, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high‑quality products in a fast‑paced environment.

Requirements

  • BS or BA degree
  • 14 years of direct public affairs experience
  • Thorough knowledge of all applicable DoW and Army public affairs regulations
  • Must have an in-scope DoW Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing detailed communication and outreach plans supporting AvMC and Army priorities.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and validating high‑level communication products such as news releases, talking points, strategic messaging, and event materials.
  • Interpreting, applying, and operationalizing command-level guidance to ensure message consistency and alignment.
  • Coordinating with AvMC directorates, Portfolio Acquisition Executives (PAE), and higher headquarters public affairs offices to synchronize communication efforts.
  • Strengthening stakeholder relationships and building public trust through proactive engagement and clear, consistent messaging.
