About The Position

The Division of Politics, Administration, and Justice at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Public Administration Part-Time Lecturer Pool. We are seeking intelligent, highly motivated, and well-organized part-time lecturers to teach in our curriculum. We are particularly interested in faculty to teach in face to face classes for both our upper-division and graduate-level courses in Public Administration. An area of particular need is experience teaching or qualifications to teach upper-division and graduate courses in public finance and research methods, but other areas of interest include administrative law, emergency management, human resources, leadership, organizational theory, or ethics. This is a pool of part-time lecturers for the department to draw on as necessary. Qualified applicants will be contacted when positions are available. Appointments from the part-time pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term. Applicants must be available on very short notice.

Requirements

• Prior teaching experience at the university level.
• Ability to interact and work effectively with a culturally diverse range of students.
• Ph.D., D.P.A., J.D., or MA/MS/MPA in a field related to teaching responsibilities, or ABD status with an expected graduation date.
• Graduate degree and professional experience in a field related to teaching responsibilities for professionally qualified candidates.
