About The Position

Position Overview Department: Inpatient Rehab Schedule: Full time days; rotating weekends Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's East Benefits for eligible positions only include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do Conduct medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist. Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist. Perform therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population. Document treatment interventions given. May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Currently licensed, eligible to be licensed or having a temporary license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) according to the rules and regulations of the Alabama Board of Physical Therapy required. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy Program required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Additional Preferences No additional preferences. Requirements

Currently licensed, eligible to be licensed or having a temporary license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) according to the rules and regulations of the Alabama Board of Physical Therapy required.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
Graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy Program required.
Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
