About The Position

The Security Dispatcher is responsible for monitoring client cameras and responding to emergencies by dispatching patrol supervisors to client sites. This role involves operating communication equipment, receiving and editing reports, and ensuring the security of sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor cameras and operate radio, telephone, and computer equipment at emergency response centers.
  • Receive and edit reports submitted by guards and supervisors to post to the client portal.
  • Answer phones and dispatch response calls to patrol supervisors for the client.
  • Monitor client cameras for alarms, alerts, intrusions, and trespassers to dispatch patrol supervisors.
  • Determine response requirements and priorities of situations, dispatching units as per established procedures.
  • Record details of calls, dispatches, and messages.
  • Question callers to determine their site client locations and the nature of their problems.
  • Contact emergency response field units to determine available patrol units for dispatch.
  • Maintain access to and security of highly sensitive and confidential materials.
  • Monitor various radio frequencies from guards and patrol supervisors.
