About The Position
About the Job Key Responsibilities: • Implement basic alteration services (i.e. Hemming, patch and repair, tapering) and more technical alterations (e.g. Fitting/tailoring items other than jeans, where more technical equipment is necessary; detailed appearance altering processes, embroidery) • Exemplify and have customer service skills to enhance our clients experience. • Educate and trains store teams on customer offerings provided by the Tailor Shop. • Help with responsibilities on the selling floor and fitting room as requested by store management • Comply with all Levi's® policy and programs. Job Requirements: • Experience with denim industry and current/upcoming trends. • Understanding of textiles and fabrics with skills in sewing, tailoring and textile repair. • Awareness of design trends • Enjoy engaging with clients and store team About You • High school diploma or GED • Minimum of 1 years of sewing/tailoring experience and a knowledge of jeans construction • Knowledge of machines used in the sewing of denim products. • While performing the responsibilities of the job you may be asked to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear, use hands to type and use the tools of tailor shop. • You are occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, lift, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the job responsibilities. • Open to working a flexible schedule to meet our needs, including evening and weekend shifts We put a lot of thought into our programs to provide you with a benefits package that matters.
