In this role, you will exemplify the highest level of customer service standards to both internal and external customers. You will assist management in planning for the receipt of shipments, ensuring cost-effective receipt and determining any additional staffing needs. Your responsibilities will include processing shipments as they are delivered and maintaining accurate inventory records. You will direct merchandise flow from the stock room to the sales floor, ticket and stock merchandise, and prepare items for immediate distribution. Additionally, you will organize stockroom departments, process inventory paperwork, and maintain records of merchandise stored at off-site locations. You will execute timely processing of donations and merchandise, ensure cleanliness in the stockroom, and complete daily tasks as assigned. There may be opportunities to supervise and train stock associates and assist on the sales floor as needed, all while complying with company policies and procedures.
