Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center is an iconic New York City attraction, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline from the Observation Deck. Our team members are empowered to create singular moments by displaying a strong attention to detail and anticipating our guests’ needs. Applicants should demonstrate an ability to quickly learn and communicate information pertaining to Top of the Rock as well as other aspects of Rockefeller Center. Working hours will include daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Availability on weekends and holidays is required. Due to the nature of this role and its responsibilities, the team member must report to the on-site work location during scheduled work hours. Public health and safety are a top priority of every team member. All employees must be committed to creating a safe and enjoyable environment for all our guests and staff.

  • Provide 5-star customer service to all employees, clients, and visitors.
  • Answer and route incoming calls professionally and efficiently, handling some confidential calls with discretion.
  • Greet and register visitors, ensure completion of NDA, and issue temporary or replacement badges as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records for visitor logs and access cards, ensuring all loaned badges are returned.
  • Notify employees of deliveries or coordinate with the Mail Room for receipt.
  • Provide light administrative support, including scheduling meetings, coordinating catering, and assisting with clerical tasks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized reception and meeting area; replenish supplies in pantry, conference, and barista areas.
  • Monitor and order office and pantry supplies; assist with copy/print services and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
  • Update phone lists and train backup personnel on front desk procedures.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive matters.
  • Proactively support other office service functions and take initiative during downtime.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
  • 1–3 years’ experience in reception, administrative, or customer service roles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and standard office systems (multi-line phones, copiers, scanners).
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities while maintaining composure.
  • Must maintain professional appearance and adhere to company policies.
