The Receptionist Security Officer serves as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors while maintaining the safety and security of the premises. This position combines front-desk reception duties with access control and surveillance responsibilities to ensure a welcoming and secure environment. We help make your world a safer place. The Receptionist Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control, and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Receptionist Officers will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., pager or phone).
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
  • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • SORA License or able to obtain

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring only authorized personnel enter.
  • Verify identification and issue visitor badges in accordance with company procedures.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and manage front desk inquiries.
  • Maintain a daily log of visitors, deliveries, and security incidents.
  • Respond to security alarms and incidents, reporting them promptly to management.
  • Conduct routine patrols of the premises as required.
  • Support emergency response procedures, including evacuations and first aid as trained.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
