About The Position

Support the Variability Reduction Team (VRT) meetings at the Plant with the PVT & manufacturing co-leads. Support and present issue findings in quality forums, including Technical and Functional Quality Reviews (TQR, FQR), Director Quality Reviews (DQR), plant quality meetings (PIC, VRT, etc.), Vehicle Quality Reviews (VQR) and Quality Days as required. Prepare functional problem-solving documents to support issue resolution with cross-functional team members (CCC 6-Panel, 8-D, 5 Why, Fishbone, etc.). Prepare repair procedures for units contained at the assembly plant. Support Plant FTT improvements. Launch Support Major launch - Support launch team prior to OKTB + 30 days and transition to lead on issue resolution post OKTB + 30 days. Minor launch - May lead some selected small-scale programs/added starters upon agreement with OPD/PVT Leadership. AIMS/DEMS - Lead for minor launches, support for major launches and take the lead after OKTB. Established and active employee resource groups

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Similar)
  • 5+ years of experience in PD/Quality/Program Engineering.
  • Six-Sigma Training (Black Belt or Green Belt Certification).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to support quick decision-making.
  • Excellent leadership and/or presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with ability to work autonomously.
