This is a maintenance position within the Parks and Recreation Department. The primary work of this position involves the preparation of ball diamonds for play. Work consists of but not limited to grooming and watering skinned infields, painting and chalking foul lines, trimming grass, setting field to age-appropriate dimensions, cleaning dugouts and restrooms, removing trash, repairing facilities and grounds, cleaning equipment, and cleaning shop area. Other park maintenance related work will be assigned as needed. Work hours consist of a combination of weekend, evening, and weekday based on tournament and recreation program schedules, not to exceed 40 hours per week. 3-month and 6-month positions available. This is a maintenance position within the Parks and Recreation Department. Work involves the maintenance and care of parks, playgrounds, city facilities, cemeteries, and related areas.
