About The Position

The PT OT Technician PRN at Las Palmas Medical Center assists licensed Physical and Occupational Therapy staff in delivering patient care and performing clerical and maintenance duties. This role is essential in supporting therapy programs for various patient populations, ensuring a safe and organized environment for rehabilitation services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of experience in any therapy setting preferred, but new graduates are accepted.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.

• Experience in a therapy setting (1-2 years preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical and Occupational Therapy licensed staff in treating patients.
• Help apply PT/OT techniques, procedures, exercises, and therapeutic modalities.
• Utilize rehab equipment safely and effectively under supervision.
• Maintain oxygen tanks in safe operational condition.
• Enter patient charges on the Meditech system accurately and timely.
• Keep the Rehab Services Department and storage areas clean and organized.
• Maintain stock of supplies and other needed items.
