About The Position

The Children's Home of Poughkeepsie has been caring for children throughout the Hudson Valley for over 175 years! We strive to empower children and families to achieve optimal health and well being. We are currently seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to work in our Anchor Point Crisis Residence Center Program. Position Summary Since we are caring for children, weekend and night work is included in our shifts. The staff nurse assumes those duties assigned by the nursing supervisor including but not limited to maintenance of records, arranging and securing medical care for children, monitoring children's health needs, executing physicians’ orders, assisting children in preventive health care and personal hygiene, caring for sick children, and assessing medical needs. Schedule: Saturday & Tuesday 11am - 9pm The Children's Home offers an outstanding benefit package which includes weekly pay, medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 403(b), tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and a great work environment! Requirements

• Valid NYS Drivers license in good standing
• NYS RN license
• Computer experience necessary
• Valid NYS Driver's License in good standing as determined by the agency
