Requirements

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma; associate degree preferred
• Certification: CMA and/or RMA and/or CCMA
• At least three years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized, motivated and results driven

Nice To Haves

• Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching preferred

Responsibilities

• Teach Medical Assistant courses
• Provide academic advising to students
• Assist the program director
• Participate in department training
• Attend meetings and graduation
