The team member is also responsible for preparing and merchandising products and offerings in the hot foods section of deli.

Requirements

• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, mark, and package products.
• Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions, including stocking, cleaning, straightening, and rotating product.
• Maintain proper cooler conditions, including coding, rotating, organizing cases of product, and cleaning.
• Maintain proper prep area conditions, including cleaning and sanitizing of work surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations as they apply to the deli area.
• Maintain safe and clean sales floor conditions, including sweeping and mopping.
• Provide exceptional friendly and courteous customer service.
• Dress according to company policy and maintain a neat, clean appearance at all times.
• Complete ELM training courses as they are added to the learning page.
• May be designated to direct and supervise the functions and activities of the mashgiach department in the absence of the mashgiach manager.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
