Together, we strive to address food insecurity and positively impact lives across the state. Logistics & Work Environment: This full-time role is based at 2025 Main Street, Columbia. This position requires flexibility to work various shifts between 5am - 8pm, mirroring the restaurant industry hours. The successful candidate will be part of a team that operates on a split-shift basis, seven days a week, including holidays (e.g. Thanksgiving and Christmas Day), on a rotating basis. Requirements
- 1-2 years of prior Prep or Sous Chef experience strongly perferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a kitchen assistant, cook, or relevant role in fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and standards.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
