Requirements
- Previous experience in industrial or commercial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safe handling practices
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (standing, bending, lifting up to 35 lbs)
- Education and work history that demonstrates work ethic and responsibility.
- Understanding of safety regulations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Must care about quality.
- Must be detailed oriented and work at an efficient pace.
- Must be reliable.
- Must have valid driver's license to drive around plant
- Must have steel toe shoes
- Must be able to work morning shifts, M-F 8:00 AM to 2 PM Some days will be shorter.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize industrial equipment, machinery, and/or workspaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove debris from floors and surfaces
- Use industrial cleaning chemicals and tools safely and effectively
- Maintain restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas in a sanitary condition
- Monitor cleaning supplies and report replenishment needs
- Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Report any maintenance or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Assist with other duties as assigned to support the facility’s cleanliness
