PT HVAC Instructor
About The Position
Fortis College in Montgomery, AL is seeking an experienced, highly motivated HVAC/R Technican to join its faculty. We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our HVAC/R Program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach HVAC/R courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation.
Requirements
- Completion of an HVAC/R program resulting in a Certification of Completion or Diploma
- EPA Universal - required
- HVAC Certified - required
- At least three years of experience as an HVAC/R Technician
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated and results-driven
Nice To Haves
- associate degree preferred
- Journeyman HVAC - desired but not required
- Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred, but not required
