As a Shopper at Hannaford Supermarkets, you will serve as the representative of the customer, ensuring that the shopping experience for Hannaford To Go customers meets or exceeds their expectations. You will also assist customers in picking up their orders and must be knowledgeable about the various types of produce available in the store, including the differences between similar products such as different varieties of apples and lettuces. In addition to these primary duties, you will be responsible for bagging or packaging merchandise according to company policies, labeling items for customer pickup, and maintaining a neat and organized work area. You will need to adhere to all company policies and safety standards, handle return-to-stock items promptly, and communicate any equipment maintenance needs. Your role will also involve assisting the Expeditor with transporting and loading orders into customers' vehicles as needed.
