About The Position

The Fitness Center Attendant is responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment for students and staff to exercise. This role involves communicating rules and regulations, managing attendance, and ensuring the fitness center is well-maintained and operational.

Requirements

• Up to one year of experience in supporting others in fitness or personal wellness.
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.

Nice To Haves

• Personal Training certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve students and maintain attendance records for those using the fitness center.
• Clean the fitness center regularly to prevent viral and bacterial outbreaks.
• Open and close the fitness center, reporting any events to the supervisor.
• Assist instructors with preparation for fitness training and other classes.
• Maintain fitness center equipment and keep the pool area clean and free of debris.
• Oversee work-study students.
• Support and participate in strategic planning initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
