We are seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide hands on care to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. Support Services professionals assist individuals and families living in their personal home. Services provided are personalized and directed by the individual receiving supports and may include but are not limited to: assistance with personal hygiene, activities/ outings, social engagement, and shopping. This position is Mon/Wed, 6p to 9p, Tues/Thu, 6p to 8p. Some flexibility with hours. Some lift and transfer may be required. Paid trainings, including CPR/First Aid DSP’s assist with creating opportunities for individuals to live full and productive lives by: Assisting with participation and exploration of the community Cultivating and expanding independent living skills Assisting with development of meaningful and personal relationships Implementing strategies to achieve individuals’ personal goals Eligible candidates must have a high school degree/GED and a current driver’s license with less than three points on the driving record.
