About The Position

The position involves performing various cleaning duties in a dining operation, ensuring that all areas and equipment are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.

Requirements

• High School/GED preferred
• Minimum 1 year relevant experience
• Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates an ability to do the job will be considered

Responsibilities

• Cleans appropriate areas and equipment (i.e., sweeps, vacuums, mops, waxes, etc.)
• Empties waste receptacles
• Keeps inventory of cleaning material and supplies and orders appropriate replacements
• Reports shortages
• Arranges furniture
• Sanitizes facilities
• Trains and directs student employees
• Launders aprons, uniforms, linens, sheets, etc.
• Maintains cleaning supply storage area
• Demonstrates excellent customer service at all times
• Participates in training and performs other duties as requested by management
