Requirements

• Follow infection control procedures, including proper hand washing techniques
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external contacts
• Pass criminal background study and be able to perform the physical demands of the position

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation, serving, and clean up for residents and staff
• Ensure all meals are properly prepared to meet strict food safety guidelines
• Ensure OSHA safety regulations and compliance, and ensure all persons in the kitchen and dining room follow OSHA guidelines
• Perform a variety of tasks within time constraints and interruptions
• Demonstrate independent action and sound judgment with residents and schedule changes
