About The Position

Susquehanna Printing Company is looking for a Part Time Commercial Delivery Driver to join our team! The Delivery Driver will be primary responsible to drive manual shift company trucks to deliver commercial jobs at customer sites, in addition to picking up jobs and bringing back to facility. Works in warehouse to load and unload pallets using tow motor or motorized hand truck.. Must have experience driving 26-foot trucks with air brakes. Why work with us? Commercial Delivery Driver Essential Job Functions (Full Description): Drives van, cube truck and box truck to make all necessary and timely deliveries to customers Drives to various areas to pick up orders (verify accuracy of order; secures backhauls to return to depot as scheduled) ensuring no damage occurs and product is transported Helps the Circulation Department to deliver, set up and tear down event-related tables, tents, newspaper holders, etc. Help in warehouse as needed to complete jobs for delivery Performs and documents condition of vehicles thorough vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections Keeps van and trucks clear of any debris, windows and headlights clean for high visibility Schedules routine vehicle maintenance as required. Uses straps and ropes to secure publications from falling/sliding within the vehicle Communication: Communicates and collaborates effectively while striving for the highest possible outcomes for customers and our organization. Develops and maintains strong working relationships with internal and external customers. Works proactively to identify problems and craft creative solutions. Strives to be great every day while possessing the highest standards of integrity.

Requirements

  • Valid Class C Driver’s License; must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to read and comprehend directions/instructions and write notes
  • Ability to lift heavy packages and objects
  • Flexibility to change focus and/or deliveries at any moment
  • Observes safety and security procedures; reports unsafe conditions, reports accidents immediately
  • Must have experience driving 26-foot trucks with air brakes

Nice To Haves

  • CDL preferred but not required

Responsibilities
