About The Position

Ellis Home & Garden on in Longview, TX is now accepting applications for Cashiers, Sales Associate and Greenhouse Associate positions. These positions will help operate our store on a day-to-day basis. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Lifting 50+/- pounds repeatedly (Greenhouse positions)
Comfortable working in all weather conditions periodically
Computer proficiency required
Must be available Nights & Weekends
Must be 18 years of age

Nice To Haves

Some college preferred
Retail point of sale experience preferred
Cash handling experience (Cashier position)
Plant knowledge preferred, but not required (we will train you!)

Responsibilities

Cashiers will be the face of the company and usually the first person that our customers see when they come to our store.
Cashiers are responsible for greeting customers, processing transactions accurately, answering phone calls, and any other assigned duties.
The Sales Associate will be responsible for helping customers on our sales floor, stocking & pricing merchandise, along with other assigned duties.
The Greenhouse Associate will be responsible for tending to our plants and flowers inside the Greenhouse.
other duties include unloading delivery trucks, helping customers with purchases, cleaning, stocking and any other assigned duties.
