About The Position

Reporting to the Site Leader, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
The Cashier is responsible for accurately processing food item transactions, maintaining the balance of the cash drawer and providing customer service to guests of the location.
Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by location based on client requirements, and business needs.

Requirements

• Previous cashier experience
• Food Handlers certificate required
• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications an asset
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Operates a register and handles cash and credit card transactions.
• Greet and assists customers while anticipating their needs.
• Count, organize, and balance cash drawer.
• Fill out the cashier slip and make deposits.
• Adheres to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Ensures security of company assets.
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guests, customers, co-workers, etc.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager.
