Simon & Schuster is currently seeking a Part-Time Carton Maker to join our Distribution Center in Riverside, NJ. This position will be creating cartons and labels.

Requirements

• HS Diploma
• Ability to delegate workload for optimum performance and wave completion.
• Ability to meet commitments for end of business day.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of employees.
• Operate a manual floor jack
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of WMS and LM
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to multi-task
• Flexible
• Ability to work OT as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate the carton Erector Machine
• Keep a constant flow of Cartons to label
• Label cartons and throw on the line
• Supply Backorders/New Title area with cartons in a fast-paced environment
• Place labels on cartons to be shipped accurately
• Follow instructions by Supervisor/Team Lead on what to work each day
• Accurately place sign on cartons for correct waves/order
• Make cartons manually by different size
• Other duties as assigned through out the split case department
