Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong interpersonal communication, time management, and conflict resolution skills
- Willingness and ability to enforce policies and resolve conflicts
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, as necessary
- Completion of First Aid, CPR, and AED training, as required
- Basic computer competency
- Positive interaction with youth
- Positive interaction with patrons, faculty, and staff
Responsibilities
- Provide constant supervision and interaction with participants
- Plan and lead activities for campers
- Supervise and interact with youth camp members
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and enjoyment of youth camp members
- Enforce rules and procedures as they relate to the camp, and other areas as needed
- Perform opening and closing camp duties including setup and breakdown, organizing of materials, and head counts
- Inform supervisor of any injuries or issues with campers
- Follow directions given by Camp Supervisor
- Perform other duties as required
