About The Position

The Barback is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and proper stock behind the bar, as well as ensuring the best-in-class guest experience. They are also responsible for assisting the Bar staff in keeping the bar organized for an efficient flow of service throughout their shift. In addition, the position supports the bar area and ensures the lobby market is consistently restocked, organized, and presented to standard.

Requirements

One year of previous experience in a similar role
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Evening shift availability.
Adequate communication skills: must be able to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers
Patient in dealing with guests.

Responsibilities

Request, pick, verify and put away all requisitions for liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks and food items used for the bar areas.
Stock the bar areas with liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks, glassware and condiments.
Develop a complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar.
Ensure that all side opening and closing duties are completed.
Restock and maintain the lobby market to ensure product availability, cleanliness, and visual appeal at all times.
Adopt a positive approach in dealing with guests problems and issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
Attend to customer needs with a friendly and professional attitude.
Operate and maintain bar equipment and tools.
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
