About The Position

The PT Air Ramp Supervisor is responsible for supervising, training, and developing ramp employees at UPS. This role emphasizes safety, productivity, and attendance, while maintaining high standards for customer service and operational efficiency. The supervisor will provide leadership and foster a collaborative work environment, ensuring compliance with safety policies and promoting employee growth.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
  • Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
  • Meets local age and operations requirements to operate a vehicle.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises and trains ramp employees, ensuring adherence to safety policies and procedures.
  • Manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment with an emphasis on communication and cooperation.
  • Implements personal development plans for employees to support their professional growth.
  • Conducts orientation, skills training, and safety training for new employees.
  • Provides regular evaluations and proactive coaching to support employee development.
