About The Position

Bureau Veritas is seeking the immediate hire of a Part-Time Administrative Assistant for their office in Lewistown, PA. The person in this role will support the permitting office for the municipality. This role requires exceptional organizational, communication, and customer service skills, as well as the ability to perform a variety of administrative and technical duties. Requirements

  • We will consider any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for this job.
  • Minimum education required: High school graduate (or equivalent)
  • At least 1 year of experience working in an office environment
  • Fluent in verbal and written English; expert at Business English.
  • Operates office equipment, machines, and computers.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Strong service orientation and friendly demeanor.
  • High attention-to-detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Able to manage workload, multitask, and work independently while advancing self-directed priorities in group settings.
  • Efficient and organized with a strong work ethic and excellent sense of initiative and follow-through.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Availability during the week during daytime hours.
