About The Position

Atlantic Cape Community College seeks qualified adjunct instructors to deliver high quality instruction at our three full-service campuses and through distance education. If you are qualified to teach at Atlantic Cape, your materials will be maintained in a pool of qualified candidates. As teaching opportunities arise throughout the academic year, you may be contacted by the College for an interview.

Requirements

• In most disciplines a master's degree is required
• For some disciplines instructors may be hired with a bachelor's degree and/or appropriate experience
• Qualified educational degree can be in a specific teaching area OR include appropriate coursework in a teaching area

Nice To Haves

• Relevant licensure preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Preparing and presenting course materials following collegiate and departmental standards
• Regular communication with students, department, and college community
• Grading, attendance, and reporting as required
• Participation in course and programmatic assessment
• Utilization of Blackboard Ultra LMS and integration of course materials where applicable
