About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team in an outpatient surgical center. This position plays a key role in supporting the financial operations of the Center, including monthly close, budgeting, audits, and departmental reporting. The ideal candidate is a true team player who thrives in a professional healthcare environment and values accuracy, accountabliity, and collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• OR
• Minimum 5 years of healthcare accounting experience
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
• Strong IT skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in healthcare or ambulatory surgery center accounting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform basic accounting functions to the monthly financial close, audits, and budgeting
• Prepare accurate monthly financial analyses
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances between actual performance and budget
• Provide clear and accurate explanations of financial variances to leadership and department managers
• Support departmental staff with reporting related to revenue, expenses, and statistical data
• Assist with special projects, operating budget preparation, and financial audits as needed
• Help maintain efficient day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department
• Consistently adhere to departmental standards for a professional office environment
