LMI is seeking a PSYOP Capability Developer with a minimum of an active SECRET clearance and at least 3 years of demonstrated experience to support the United States Army Special Operations Command. Requirements

  • Experience supporting U.S. Special Operations Forces or Information Operations programs.
  • Knowledge of capability development processes within the Department of Defense.
  • Familiarity with DOTMLPF-P analysis and Army capability requirements development.
  • Experience coordinating across operational units, acquisition organizations, and strategic stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the information environment and influence operations.
  • Active Secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in Psychological Operations (PSYOP), Military Information Support Operations (MISO), Information Operations (IO), or influence activities.
  • Experience with Army modernization processes including JCIDS and PPBE.
  • Familiarity with data-driven influence operations, digital media analysis, or information warfare capabilities.
  • Experience supporting Special Operations modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess capability gaps impacting ARSOF Psychological Operations missions across strategic, operational, and tactical levels.
  • Develop and refine capability requirements aligned with USASOC priorities and Army modernization initiatives.
  • Produce capability development documents including Initial Capability Documents (ICDs), Capability Development Documents (CDDs), and other requirements artifacts.
  • Conduct DOTMLPF-P analysis to evaluate current PSYOP capabilities and identify modernization opportunities.
  • Recommend integrated solutions across doctrine, training, materiel, and organizational structures to improve influence and information operations.
  • Support the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE) process for PSYOP modernization initiatives.
  • Coordinate with USASOC G8, Army Futures Command, and Program Executive Offices to align capability requirements with funded programs.
  • Assist in developing program objective memorandums (POM) and resourcing strategies.
  • Integrate emerging technologies into PSYOP capabilities including: Data analytics and artificial intelligence Information environment analysis tools Digital influence platforms Social media exploitation tools Cyber-enabled influence capabilities
  • Ensure PSYOP capabilities are aligned with joint and Army Multi-Domain Operations concepts.
