Grand Forks, ND 58201 Pay Range: $70,304.00 - $105,435.20 Summary: The Psychotherapy Coordinator provides a structured supervision plan for the Psychotherapists (LMSW) working towards independent licensure and program supervision for the Psychotherapists (LCSW), that includes professional development, review of work in progress, oversight of performance effectiveness, and program standard review and revision. This position also completes diagnostic evaluations and assessments and develops treatment plans and provides short and long-term therapy and referrals. The Psychotherapist maintains knowledge of psychiatric medications and identifies significant changes or high risk situations. This role offers opportunities to participate in teaching activities within the University of North Dakota Department of Social Work, i.e., course instruction, guest lectures, and/or workshops depending on organizational needs. Requirements

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) | North Dakota Board of Social Work Examiners | Prior to Start Date | HR Primary Sources
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker | Minnesota State Board of Social Workers | Within 12 Months of Start Date | HR Primary Sources
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) | American Heart Association (AHA) | Within 90 Days of Start Date | Learning Management System
  • Position will be credentialed through Altru Health System’s credentialing process Recognized by North Dakota Board of Social Work Examiners as clinical supervisor
  • Required: A minimum of 3 years Related Experience
  • This position requires proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to ensure effective communication in the workplace and with patients, families, and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Develops treatment plan and reviews assessment information with each patient.
  • Assesses the patient to identify needs, issues, care goals, termination and continuing care options.
  • Completes psychosocial assessments, diagnostic impression, counseling and referrals for individuals, couples, families, or groups using a variety of therapeutic approaches.
  • Identifies significant changes or high risk situations.
  • Processes progress notes.
  • Completes all billing procedures.
  • Makes contact with referral sources, providers and other caregivers and assures communication and coordination exists regarding patient care.
  • Collaborates with community resources to deliver services that promote quality outcomes and continuity of care.
  • Monitors program effectiveness by evaluating, initiating and participating in restructuring of current and new programs.
  • Performs utilization review when required.
  • Collaborates with Primary Care Provider (PCP) regarding the patient's progress and changing needs.
  • Provides a structured supervision plan for the Psychotherapists (LMSW) working toward independent licensure.
  • Reviews work in progress, oversight of performance effectiveness, and program standard review and revision.
  • Assumes responsibilities associated with social work field instruction and student supervision.
  • Meets to discuss patient cases and provide guidance to ensure treatment plans and documentation are clinically complete.
  • Completes billing procedures and performs utilization review as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
