About The Position

Provides short term direct clinical services to Pediatric population with a wide spectrum of social, emotional, relationship and mental health issues. This may include brief individual, group and family sessions for children and adolescents ages toddler to 21 years; completes initial assessments, skills-based and/or psychotherapeutic interventions, crisis screening and safety planning, care coordination, medication management support, refers to community providers as needed for ongoing therapy needs. Works in partnership with physicians, psychiatric consultant, other health practitioners, and administrative staff on care coordination and treatment planning and is the principal team resource for all mental health matters. The position also collaborates with the other psychotherapists to implement and sustain best practices in the field of behavioral health. Clinical assessment and psychotherapy to clients with diverse clinical presentations, including children and adolescents. Experience using EPIC electronic medical record a plus. Candidate must have desire and ability to work as an active member of a collaborative interdisciplinary practice team led by physicians. Required to have CA license in good standing and comply with the most recent Board of Behavioral Science requirements.
