Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Psychology or related field.
  • 1 Year of experience in hospital or other clinical setting or 1 year related clinical externship.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inpatient and/or outpatient assessments of patients with a variety of developmental, medical, and neurological conditions.
  • Manage the administration and scoring of neuropsychological tests.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Neuropsychologist(s) to coordinate patient care.
  • Support ongoing presentations and research activities.
  • Provide training in test administration for externs and postdoctoral fellows.
  • Perform standardized administration and scoring of a wide range of psychological and neuropsychological tests.
  • Establish an appropriate testing environment and administer tests to inpatients and outpatients.
  • Score all tests administered, document behavioral observations, and provide a brief summary of results.
  • Instruct trainees in proper test administration and check the work of trainees for accuracy.
  • Conduct in-service training whenever new assessment tools or scoring programs are made available.
  • Schedule appointments for outpatient testing.
