About The Position

Tanner Clinic has an immediate opening for a Psychometrist: Essential Job Responsibilities: · Administer standardized and non-standardized tests of cognitive functions. · Score all tests administered and prepare an accurate summary of scores and behavioral observations. · Maintain test equipment. · Order supplies, equipment and forms as needed. · Perform occasional administrative support tasks as needed. · Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or other Behavioral Science.
• Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the capacity to evaluate and elicit cooperation from patients with cognitive, behavioral, and psychiatric problems.
• Highly motivated, organized, and with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills interacting with the other professional and administrative staff.
• Excellent observational skills and the ability to record those observations.
• Ability to learn and retain information regarding patient care procedures.
• Ability to project a pleasant and professional image.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete delegated tasks.
• Ability to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds of supplies.
• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with neuropsychological testing preferred.
