In the role of a Psychometrist II you will be working in the Peditrics Department.

Purpose

Conduct and score psychological/neuropsychological assessments. Assist in the collection of clinical research data and in the training of graduate students and residents in evaluation procedures.

Requirements

• Knowledge of biology, clinical judgment, medicine, cultural awareness, and consulting.
• Medical documentation, interpersonal, practice-based learning and improvement, empathy, and decision making skills.
• Appropriate experience may be substituted for educaiton on an equivalent basis
• Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree
• Minimum Required Experience: 1 year

Responsibilities

• Independently perform psychological/neuropsychological testing of patients and research subjects.
• Interview patients and patient care givers as directed and consult with other professionals to assist in recognition of treatment obstacles.
• Evaluate, score, and summarize tests administered to patients.
• Write reports, summaries and/or case histories as necessary.
• Manage research and clinical data, and coordinate patient schedules.
• Train graduate students and residents in evaluation procedures.
• Perform literature searches and research reviews.
• Maintain testing supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
