The Brigham Young University (BYU) Department of Psychology invites applicants of any academic rank to fill a full-time (continuing faculty status) professorial-track faculty position to begin Fall Semester 2026. We specifically seek applicants with training in cognitive and behavioral neuroscience. Our department values student mentoring, a collegial academic culture, and the ideals of open and reproducible research.   • Commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring, including the ability to teach upper- and lower-level undergraduate and graduate classes.
  • Demonstrate strong research skills, a well-defined research agenda, and an established record of peer-reviewed publications and scholarly productivity that includes student mentoring.
  • Engage in citizenship responsibilities in the department, college, and university.
  • PhD in psychology or a related field.
  • The required degree must be completed by the start date.
