Psychologist – Adult Behavioral Health Outpatient - Columbia - Spanish speaking preferred The Adult Behavioral Health Outpatient Program at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center offers comprehensive mental health programming for patients and families with a variety of behavioral health concerns. Our growing services include a newly established Intensive Outpatient Program and a variety of other specialized services. Our vibrant clinic largely serves Washington Heights and upper Manhattan communities. Our interdisciplinary and collaborative teams are committed to providing culturally sensitive care. A large and dynamic service, we are seeking talented faculty to join our premier academic center committed to providing clinical services to our community. Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Psychologist provides diagnosis and treatment of individuals referred for psychiatric services. This is a professional position with supervisory responsibilities. Essential Job Duties include conducting individual, group, family and couples' psychotherapy with the service's population. Licensed providers will be responsible for some clinical supervision of psychology interns. The psychologist participates in staff meetings and in-service program, provides psychological testing services if needed, and performs other job-related duties as assigned. For non-licensed clinicians, all clinical activities are provided under the on-site supervision and co-signing of a licensed provider.
