Clay Consulting is looking to hire Psychologists to perform one-time, in-person, Behavioral Health Examinations for veterans and active-duty military personnel. Summary At Clay Consulting you will apply your expertise in the evaluation and diagnosis of psychological health conditions. As a disability examiner, you gather and synthesize clinical evidence through medical and military record reviews, interviews with Veterans, and face-to-face examinations. You develop a medical opinion of the likelihood that the Veteran’s condition is related to their military service. The timely and expert examination assures that a Veteran’s claim is heard and dutifully processed by VBA. Clay Consulting offers our vendors a vast network of providers who perform Compensation and Pension (C&P) exams, Separation Health Assessments (SHAs), and Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) evaluations for our Nation's Veterans. Requirements
- Doctorate Degree in Psychology (Ph.D, PsyD)
- Graduate of an APA accredited program
- Active and unrestricted psychologist license in state
- Knowledge of psychological testing techniques, administration, and interpretation
Responsibilities
- Conduct biopsychosocial exam of claimant
- Conducts psychological, developmental, and cognitive-deficit assessments including but not limited to test administration and interpretation.
- Prepares intake summaries and case summaries; maintains confidential records.
- Charts claimants’ treatment and progress in accordance with state, federal, and facility regulations and guidelines and in keeping with accepted community standards.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
