About The Position

Adelphi is seeking a psychologist to conduct to conduct MH assessments, individual therapy, and screenings for adult offenders in a correctional facility in North Carolina. The role includes both individual interventions and consultative services. Requirements

• NC license
• Current BLS and ACLS certificationsBLS certification.
• Masters degree in psychology, with an emphasis on clinical psychology.
• Proficiency in psychological testing and interpretation
• Experience in correctional or high -security behavioral health settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations, including cognitive and personality testing.
• Diagnose mental health disorders using established tools and methodologies.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions.
• Consult with facility staff and external providers on treatment plans.
• Document all clinical encounters in HERO (EMR system).
• Interpret assessment results and provide treatment recommendations.
