The Center for Victims of Torture works toward a future in which torture ceases to exist and its victims have hope for a new life. We are an international nonprofit dedicated to healing survivors of torture. We offer rehabilitation services to those who have been tortured, train partners around the world who can prevent and treat torture, and advocate for human rights and an end to torture. We are headquartered in Minnesota, and we have US offices in Georgia and DC, as well as offices in Africa and the Middle East. The Center for Victims of Torture is hiring a Psychologist to provide high-quality, trauma-informed, culturally responsive psychotherapy services. Services will include individual, couples, and group therapy for clients seeking support for mental health and well-being, including those experiencing anxiety, depression, or the effects of trauma, among other symptoms. This role is central to CVT’s innovative social enterprise model, blending excellent clinical care with a mission-driven approach to expanding access to mental health support and sustaining other programming for survivors of torture. Position open to: Candidates located in the Clarkston, GA area who are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not need CVT to sponsor them on a work visa. Remote status: Position is partially remote. 50% in-office in Clarkston, GA and 50% remote.
